Oral Presentation Guidelines:

General Information
Oral slots are 20-minutes long. However, we recommend that you prepare a 15-minute long presentation to allow for 5 minutes of questions and speaker change. Preferred format is widescreen (or 16:9), but other options will be accepted. Please note that the congress computers are being supplied with PowerPoint 2013 and Adobe Acrobat, using Windows 7.

Speaker Ready Desk (Registration Desk)
All speakers are required to check-in at the Speaker Ready Desk (Special Desk in the Registration Area) to upload their presentation at least 3 hours prior to the start of their session, or the day before for early morning sessions. The Speaker Ready Desk will be open from August 12 to 17 (except on August 15), and the staff will be available to answer your questions and to help you upload your presentation from your USB memory stick. It will be impossible to upload your presentation on the computer in the conference room.

Equipment
Each room is equipped with a microphone, a computer, a projector and a screen. Using your own computer will be only allowed in exceptional circumstances: your request must be made the day before at the speaker ready desk and authorized by the organizers. Compatibility test of your equipment will be required. Please note that the time used to switch computer will be deducted from the allotted 20-minutes. Macintosh users should make sure to have their own Mini DisplayPort to HDMI.

Short Oral and Poster

Presentation Guidelines for Short Oral and Poster:

General Information
The oral component of your presentation consists of one slide (no animation allowed) that presents and summarizes your poster presentation. You are allocated 1 (one) minute for oral presentation of your work. This provides you an opportunity to attract more people to your poster. Preferred format is widescreen (or 16:9), but other options will be accepted. Please note that the congress computers are being supplied with PowerPoint 2013 and Adobe Acrobat, using Windows 7.

Speaker Ready Desk (Registration Desk)
All oral and short poster presenters are required to check-in at the Speaker Ready Desk (Special Desk in the Registration Area) to upload their slide at least 3 hours prior to the start of their session or the day before for early morning sessions. The Speaker Ready Desk will be open from August 12 to 17 (except on August 15), and the staff will be available to answer your questions and to help you upload your slide from your USB memory stick.

Equipment
Each room is equipped with a microphone, a computer, a projector and a screen. Given the limited time available, it will be impossible for you to use your own computer. It will not be possible to upload your one slide in the session room.

Poster Presentation Guidelines for Short Oral and Poster:

The Poster Session will be held in Room 400, and guidelines are similar to those having poster-only presentations.

Poster sessions provide an opportunity for informal, interactive presentations and discussions. Beers and drinks will be offered during the Poster Session.

Each author will have access to one side of a poster board and each will have a useable area measuring 36" (92 cm) high and 72" (183 cm) wide. Poster materials should not extend outside the assigned area. A label indicating your number will be placed on the top of your board space.

Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated in the submitted abstract. Poster tacks and technical equipment will be available for the mounting of posters.
